Built and Historic: we will live in an attractive Island where people value and enjoy their built and historic environment
Natural Environment: we will live in an Island that protects its unique natural environment for future generations
Sustainable Resources: we will be an Island that uses and manages its natural resources responsibly
Below each outcome is a set of Island Indicators, which demonstrates in facts and figures how Jersey is doing today. This information on current trends has been combined with Islanders' opinions expressed in My Jersey to propose a long-term ambition for topics such as the protection of green space, traffic congestion, energy use and St Helier as a place to live. The options for the level of ambition are to either:
CONTINUE THE TREND - consolidate or build on a current trend
IMPROVE THE TREND - increase the current rate of progress
TRANSFORM THE TREND - set a new direction
As part of continued public consultation to shape the shared, long-term vision, we need your feedback on whether the long-term ambitions for these indicators are the right ones.
Although there is a lot to take on board, you can comment on as many or as few of the ambitions as you like and complete the remainder at another time.
If your interest lies in this particular area, please do give your feedback on the other two areas as well. The outcomes and underlying indicators, work together, not alone; they all contribute to our quality of life and impact on each other.
